Apollon fascinates me. This classic sweatshirt fits just right and, it is so comfortable. I have sewn it at least 10 times for myself. So, I thought it was time to customise it a bit. Whether you want to sew an Apollon for men or women, you’ll find all the steps below to make it easily.

Does it make you want to sew yours? Yes? That’s great. Below we show you how to sew your colour-block Apollon sweatshirt with the geometrical shapes of your choice.
PREPARING THE PATTERN
Prepare the pattern to your size.
Start by tracing the Front and the Back pieces in their entirety. For this, you will need to trace both the right sight and the left side of each pieces.
To create the shapes, draw the lines to create the shapes your would like. Here, we have drawn 3 lines on the front only. Tip: if it’s you are a beginner, draw straight lines so it is easier to sew.
Trace the pattern by copying the pattern by drawing each piece separately.
If you are sewing using a serger: add 3/16″ (5 mm) of seam allowance on each of the internal lines of the shapes.
If you are using a sewing machine: add 3/8″ (1 cm) of seam allowance on each of the internal lines of the shapes.
CUTTING THE FABRIC
Each geometric shape piece to be cut once in the fabric of your choice.
Cut the other pattern pieces as indicated on the booklet.
SEWING THE GARMENT
Start by assembling the geometric shapes together to obtain the full pattern piece. In this example, sew the pieces together to obtain the full Front piece.
Follow the instructions of the pattern to finish sewing the garment.
