I AM Barbara, both trendy and timeless but always elegant. My delicate character allied to all the details make me unique. I am the perfect pattern to sew indefinitely for any occasion.

We are very excited to have been able to design this pattern with Barbara (alias @bee_made on Instagram). Long before Instagram existed, we followed her adventures on her blog and she even was the first person we offered to do a collaboration with.

PDF PATTERN

All seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The different pieces don’t overlap with each other. Once printed and assembled, simply cut the pattern at your size and start sewing.

The folder contains the digital sewing pattern in layered A4, US Letter, A3 and A0 formats along with two files for projection. To accompany, there is a step-by-step illustrated explanation guide.

Digital pattern formats:

A4 and US Letter – print at home – 46 sheets

A3 – print at work (we won’t say anything) – 19 sheets

A0 file (aka: copyshop, printshop, wide files) – print at a copy shop – 3 sheets

Projection – 1 file with pattern pieces on white background and 1 file with pattern pieces on fuchsia background. Both files are layered.

The file will be emailed to you upon payment. You will also be able to access the file anytime on your iampatterns.fr account. You will need to access the files on a computer to open the zip file.

PAPER PATTERN

All seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The pattern is enclosed in an envelope. It contains the sewing pattern along with a step-by-step illustrated explanation guide.

The different pieces overlap with each other so you will need to trace the pattern on paper. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the pdf version as pieces do not overlap with each other.

2 lengths : Shirt or dress

3 flounce variations : flat flounces, long flounces with godets or short flounces with godets

You can also choose to not sew the flounce to make a classic shirt.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

Poplin, viscose, cotton voile, plumetis, lightweight chambray, lightweight crêpe, lightweight denim, silk…

To help you choose your fabric, here is a list of the fabrics used for our versions:

The white shirt and the thin blue stripy shirt have been sewn using organic cotton poplins from Amandine Cha.

The denim dress with big flounces has been made using a thin denim from Ma Petite Mercerie.

The eggshell stripy shirt was made using a Meet Milk from Meter Meter.

The red and blue stripy fabric used for the shirt with flat flounces comes from My Little Coupon.

The patterned shirt was sewn with a fabric from Un Chat Sur Un Fil.

FABRIC REQUIRED (yards)

Considering the vast number of versions, it is impossible to list the yardage for all versions in all sizes. We have broken down the amount of fabric required for each part of the garment and you’ll be able to optimise the amount of fabric required for tour chosen version by following the indications in step 1 of the booklet.
