THE PDF PATTERNS
All seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The different pieces don’t overlap with each other. Once printed and assembled, simply cut the pattern at your size and start sewing.
The folder contains the digital sewing pattern in layered A4, US Letter, A3 and A0 formats along with two files for projection. To accompany, there is a step-by-step illustrated explanation guide.
Digital pattern formats:
A4 and US Letter – print at home
A3 – print at work (we won’t say anything)
A0 – A0 file (aka: copyshop, printshop, wide files) – print at a copy shop
Projection – 1 file with pattern pieces on white background and 1 file with pattern pieces on fuchsia background. Both files are layered.
Number of pages of the pdf pattern:
Men’s version: A4/US Letter – 35 sheets / A3 – 15 sheets / A0 – 2 sheets
Kids’ version: A4/US Letter – 28 sheets / A3 – 12 sheets / A0 – 2 sheets
The file will be emailed to you upon payment. You will also be able to access the file anytime on your iampatterns.fr account. You need to open the .zip file on a computer.

VERSIONS
This pattern gives you the possibility of making 30 different versions. The different features of this garment are:
2 styles: zipped hoodie or pullover sweatshirt
2 cuff and bottom finishes: with ribbing or hemmed
2 types of pockets: kangaroo and welt
4 neckline finishes: classic hood, overlapping hood, neckband and ribbed collar
You can then choose the sweatshirt you want to make by combining the different features together.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS
Garment: jersey for sweatshirt, interlock knit, neoprene, French terry…
Ribbing: ribbing by the meter or the same fabric used for the garment (this pattern is not designed for using pre-cut ribbing bands). The ribbed collar can only be sewn in ribbing.
To help you choose your fabric: the two sweatshirts have been sewn in an organic jersey Mind the Maker chez Meter Meter.

Zipped versions: 1 open-end zipper* 23 5/8 ” (60 cm) long
Hooded versions:
1 1/4 yards (120 cm) of drawstring cord
2 eyelets (diameter depends on the drawstring width)
Scrap of non-woven and non-stretch iron-on interfacing
Welt pockets versions: iron-on interfacing: 8″ by 16″ (20 cm x 40 cm)
Kangaroo pockets versions: thin cardboard for the ironing template
*23 5/8″ is the conversion for 60 cm which is the length the original pattern is drafted for. You can take a 24″ long zipper but you will have to lengthen the front and back pieces by 3/8″. To understand how to do this, refer to the instructions in step 2 (Preparing the pattern).

This pattern gives you the possibility of making 50 different versions (and 20 more versions without pockets).
The different features of this garment are:

3 types of pockets: kangaroo, welt or inseam
4 neckline finishes: classic hood, overlapping hood, neckband and ribbed collar
You can then choose the sweatshirt you want to make by combining the different features together.
For the pullover sweatshirt with zebras, @bkcreas chose version G1 (without pockets).
Victoire, @ledressingdecindy ‘s daughter wears version A1 in a organic jersey from Meter Meter.
@mggplusplus chose version E1 in navy blue for her son Malou.
@monpetitcoudbiscuite mixed versions C5 and D5 for her daughter Léa in a lovely terracotta coloured French terry and has added elastic tapes at the cuffs.
