I AM MAGIC – 4 PDF Patterns – Complete collection

This bundle contains all 4 sewing patterns from the I AM Magic collection.

The file contains the 4 digital sewing patterns in pdf format along with a step by step illustrated explanation guide for each.

Digital pattern formats:

A4 – print at home

US Letter – print at home

A3 – print at work (we promise we won’t say anything)

A0 file (aka: copyshop, printshop, wide files) – print at a copy shop

All seam allowances are included in the patterns.

The different pieces don’t overlap with each other. Once printed and assembled, simply cut the pattern at your size and start sewing.

The file will be emailed to you upon payment. You will also be able to access the file anytime on your iampatterns.fr account.

IRMA

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

I am Irma, a dress and I can also be made as a shirt. I have a concealed button placket, my front is shorter than my back and on the back I have a back yoke with a large box pleat. I have a shirt collar and you can choose between classic shirt sleeves or bishop sleeves maintained by a cuff.

The flowery dress has been sewn using fabric from the collaboration between I AM Patterns and Atelier 27 and which is called “Eastern Wonders”.

The white shirt and the black dress were made using fabrics from Ma Petite Mercerie.

MERLIN

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

I am Merlin, a lapel coat to brave the cold. I have enough ease to wear a warm sweater underneath. You close me with one button at hip level with an option to add another button a few inches above. I have tailored two-piece sleeves, welt pockets and I am fully lined.

1 button of 1’’ (2.5 cm) diameter

Optional: 1 extra button (1’’ (2,5 cm) diameter) to close the coat with 2 buttons

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

Wool coating: boiled wool, wool gabardine, melton, boucle… Choose a medium to heavyweight fabric with some body to keep the structure of the coat.

This coat has been sewn with a fabric from Marie-Emilienne’s personal collection.

CLOCHETTE

LEVEL: SIMPLE

I am Clochette, a T-shirt shaped top made out of woven fabric and finished with ribbing. I have 4 pleats which start at the shoulder,  are maintained at the bust and then left loose all the way down to the bottom. I can be made in short of long sleeves. My neckline and my cuffs are finished with ribbing.

PANORAMIX

LEVEL: SIMPLE

I am Panoramix, a pair of ankle length high waisted tapered trousers. I am finished with a facing at the waist and you open and close me at the side with an invisible zipper. On the back you can sew welt of patch pockets. You can choose to sew me with or without an asymmetrical wrap on the front.
