The pattern comes in 18 versions, combining the following elements:

• 3 lengths: hip, below the knee, ankle

• 3 pocket options: welt pockets, patch pockets, or no pockets

• 3 necklines: with collar, with hood, or round neckline

• 2 closure types: buttons or zipper

• Fabric

• Welt pocket lining

• Fusible interfacing: 28’’ x 55’’ (70 cm x 140 cm) maximum

• 5/8’’ (17 mm) diameter jeans button (from 5 to 18 buttons,
depending on the version)

• Thin cardboard for the ironing templates

• Optional: topstitching thread

Garment: sturdy woven fabrics that provide good structure and durability, such as denim, cotton canvas, gabardine, corduroy, quilted fabric, cotton twill, etc.

Welt pocket lining: cotton poplin or batiste

To help you choose your fabric, here are the references used for each version:

The fabric used for the classic denim jacket is a raw denim from Calissone.

The dark blue denim for the long denim jacket comes from Metermeter

The sleeveless short denim jacket was sewn in a washed denim from Torreto Tessuti.

The denim for the purple work jacket comes from Calissone.

The collarless, sleeveless work jacket was sewn in an ecru denim from our private collection.

PDF PATTERN:

All seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The different pieces don’t overlap with each other. Once printed and assembled, simply cut the pattern at your size and start sewing.

The folder contains the digital sewing pattern in layered A4, US Letter, A3 and copyshop formats along with two files for projection. To accompany, there is a step-by-step illustrated explanation guide.

A4 / US letter – à imprimer et assembler chez soi – Denim jackets (versions A, B & C) : 39 pages, Workwear jackets (versions D & E) : 36 pages

A3 – à imprimer au travail (promis, on ne dira rien) – Denim jackets (versions A, B & C) : 17 pages, Workwear jackets (versions D & E) : 15 pages

Long copyshop – print at a copy shop: – Denim jackets (versions A, B & C) : 1 sheet in long copyshop format, – Workwear jackets (versions D & E) : 1 sheet in long copyshop format

Projection – 1 file with pattern pieces on white background and 1 file with pattern pieces on fuchsia background. Both files are layered.

The .zip file will be emailed to you upon payment and you will also be able to access the file anytime on your stg-iampatterns-staging.kinsta.cloud account. You will need a computer to open the .zip file.

PAPER PATTERN

All seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The pattern is enclosed in an envelope. It contains the sewing pattern along with a step-by-step illustrated explanation guide.

The different pieces overlap with each other so you will need to trace the pattern on paper. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the pdf version as pieces do not overlap with each other.
