THE COLLAB
I AM Cinderella has been designed in collaboration with Cindy from @ledressingdecindy during the second week of pattern drafting training with Marie-Emilienne, our designer. They wanted a simple pattern so beginners could sew it and with lots of variations.
I AM Cinderella features 2 lengths and 4 sleeve finishes and is loose fitting which makes it very comfortable. What’s more, it is as easy to make as it is to wear.
The blouses will be perfect for the office. Add a belt and wear it on a night out with your girlfriends or on a date. And the sleeveless versions really calls for a sunny holidays.
Marie-Emilienne and Cindy are looking forward to seeing all the versions you are going to make.
FORMATS
PDF PATTERN
All seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The different pieces don’t overlap with each other. Once printed and assembled, simply cut the pattern at your size and start sewing.
The folder contains the digital sewing pattern in A4, US Letter, A3 and A0 formats along with a step by step illustrated explanation guide.
Digital pattern formats:
A4 and US Letter – print at home – 34 sheets
A3 – print at work (we won’t say anything) – 15 sheets
A0 file (aka: copyshop, printshop, wide files) – print at a copy shop – 2 sheets
The file will be emailed to you upon payment. You will also be able to access the file anytime on your iampatterns.fr account.

PAPER PATTERN
All seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The pattern is enclosed in an envelope. It contains the sewing pattern along with a step-by-step illustrated explanation guide.
The different pieces overlap with each other so you will need to trace the pattern on paper. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the pdf version as pieces do not overlap with each other.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS
All lightweight and medium weight fabrics with a nice drape: viscose, washed linen, chambray, lightweight denim, poplin, viscose crepe, silk, Tencel, Cupro…

The sleeveless navy dress has been made using a viscose from Little Fabrics.
The short sleeve blue dress has been made using a lightweight denim from Fabric Godmother.
The short sleeve dress with ruffles has been made using the Stardust Chestnut double gauze from Atelier Brunette.
The sleeveless top was sewn using a Mind The Maker viscose twill from Meter Meter.
The short sleeve top with brown dots was made using a viscose from Pretty Mercerie.
The leopard print short sleeve top with ruffles was made in a viscose from Pretty Mercerie.
The navy short sleeve top with double gather bands has been made in a viscose crepe from Eglantine et Zoé.
